Frequently Asked Questions
What is DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing?
Direct-to-Film printing, or DTF, is a process where your design is printed onto a special film, coated with powdered adhesive, and heat-pressed onto garments or other items. This method works on cotton, polyester, blends, and many other fabrics, making it more versatile than traditional screen printing or vinyl. Because the print is first applied to film, it captures fine details, gradients, and vibrant colors with no weeding or color separation required.
How durable are DTF transfers, and how should I care for them?
Our DTF transfers are tested to last over 50–100 wash cycles without cracking, fading, or peeling when applied correctly. To maximize longevity:
• Wash inside-out in cold water
• Use mild detergent
• Avoid bleach and fabric softeners
• Tumble dry on low or hang dry
Following these care steps keeps your prints looking new for years.
Is there a minimum order requirement?
No, we have no minimum order for DTF transfers — you can order a single custom print or a large production run. This flexibility makes it easy to test designs, create one-off gifts, or produce small-batch merchandise without high upfront costs.
What file formats and quality do you accept?
We accept high-resolution PNG, PDF, AI, EPS, SVG, and PSD files. For the best results:
• Resolution: 300 DPI at final print size
• Transparent background (for PNG)
• Vector files preferred for sharp edges and easy scaling
Low-resolution or compressed images may result in blurry or pixelated prints, so always upload the highest quality version you have.
How do I apply DTF transfers?
- Preheat your garment for 3–5 seconds to remove moisture.
- Place the transfer film design-side down.
- Press at 300–320°F for 10–15 seconds with medium pressure.
- Peel cold (wait until fully cooled).
- Re-press for 3–5 seconds with parchment or Teflon for extra durability.
A quality heat press is recommended for consistent temperature and pressure.
How fast will my order ship?
Orders typically ship within 1–2 business days after we receive your artwork and payment. Large or complex orders may require additional processing time. We offer expedited shipping options at checkout for rush jobs.
What is your return/refund policy?
If there’s a defect in printing or the transfer material, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue. Because each order is custom-made, we cannot accept returns for reasons such as size changes or color preferences after production. Your satisfaction is important to us — we’ll work with you to make it right.
Can I order in bulk or use gang sheets?
Yes! We offer bulk pricing and the option to print multiple designs on a single gang sheet, helping you save on costs and reduce waste. Gang sheets are especially useful for small logos, labels, or multi-design runs.
What materials are compatible with DTF transfers?
DTF transfers can be applied to cotton, polyester, cotton/poly blends, nylon, canvas, denim, and many performance fabrics. They also work on certain non-fabric surfaces with proper preparation. If you’re unsure about a material, contact us before ordering for guidance.

Do you color match Pantone colors?
We print in CMYK and will match colors as closely as possible, but exact Pantone matching may vary due to print process differences.
